Muggings
I feel like I know an inexplicably high number of people who have been mugged, more than one involved a weapon, more than one was injured.
So here is my question. Are muggings on the rise everywhere, or does wholesale I choose to be friends with constitute a statistical anomaly?
(off the top of my head I count 6 people, a mix of nyc and sf)

burn take three
so friday morning i woke up at 5am (!) and went to the hospital for my 5:45am appointment. i went to pre-op, where they told me i couldn’t go under with a tongue ring, and then agreed we would need pliers to remove it, so they let me into surgery anyway. oh well.

update to burn story
this is an update to the earlier post on my burn.
yesterday i went back to the burn center. they took me off bedrest (thank god). i saw the occupational therapist, who said i had to walk for 10 minutes out of every hour. i can go to work on a modified schedule. the burn isn’t healing how they want it to, so even though i’ve made “significant” progress in some areas, others...

Impromptu video shoot with my boy Corey Grusden. We shot it basically in less than an hour (in between rainstorms) and the edits went by pretty quick, as well. Such a great kick in the pants. Oh yah, max of 3 takes - and we didn’t watch any of the footage. Just go…just go.
