update to burn story
this is an update to the earlier post on my burn.
yesterday i went back to the burn center. they took me off bedrest (thank god). i saw the occupational therapist, who said i had to walk for 10 minutes out of every hour. i can go to work on a modified schedule. the burn isn’t healing how they want it to, so even though i’ve made “significant” progress in some areas, others are still gross. so i have to go back next monday and they will decide for sure about a skin graft. if i need one, i have an appointment on october 8th and i stay in the hospital till the 13th. blech.
